Anglo Dance Studios based in Charminster, Bournemouth has a wide variety of both adult dance classes and Children’s lessons available. Come and join our lively, informal adult Ballroom and Latin classes and you’ll be surprised how enjoyable learning to dance can be. Or you can get Strictly Come Dancing fit with our Ladies Latino Funk and Adult Ballet classes! We have everything from Ballet, Tap and Modern through to Ballroom, Latin and Disco for Tiny Tots and Juniors to try! With classes to suit all ages and abilities from the very beginner to the advanced level dancer, there is a class for everybody!

This class is perfect for those who have completed our absolute beginner classes or have already learnt to dance previously and need to brush up on their steps. Primary Ballet STARTING September 2012 (New)
BRAND NEW AFTER SCHOOL PRIMARY BALLET CLASS.
Primary Ballet is a lovely dance class for children aged approx 5 to 6 years. Our classes follow both the RAD and IDTA syllabi teaching the children great posture, rhythm and balance but most of all the art of having fun!
The Juniors all have the chance to take IDTA exams and perform in school shows if they wish.

The Junior Advanced Ballroom and Latin class caters for all medal levels from Bronze upwards with lots of mini groups each with their own teacher. The class is always structured to allow the children to dance to their full potential whilst having fun and keeping fit!

Once our little stars have progressed through the baby classes they start on the Primary Ballet class. Usually this it at approx 5 years of age. (If your child is already 5 and not danced before then this is not a problem at all!) The class continues working on all the same points including balance, rhythm, poise but most all having fun!

Saturday Fun Club
The Saturday Fun Club is a fab introducation to all styles of dance, so it is perfect if your not quite sure what style to chose yet! The class covers Street and Freestyle, Ballroom and Latin and also has a fun disco to practice and relax after! It is such an enjoyable and social club to join, and the children still work hard and have the chance to perform and take exams if they wish!

Tiny-Tots Ballroom, Latin & Disco (New)
Our little stars start from the age of 4 years on this fun dance class! We use pop, Disney and inspiring music to create such a wonderful atmosphere for the children to learn in. Both boys and girls attend the class which covers Disco, Latin and general tiny tots dance technique in a lovely and happy class.

Street Dance and Hip-Hop. (New)
The Junior Street Dance Team 'Dynamite' love practising all the fresh and funky routines choreographed by the fabulous Jess in this fast pace and dynamic dance class. To make their dancing the best in Bournemouth the children work on style, attitude, rythm and flexibility! They also love creating their own urban style choreography as well as learning new routines!
They have the opportunity to perform in local fêtes, school shows and take IDTA/ISTD exams in all areas including freestyle, Street Dance, Hip Hop and Disco! No prior experience in needed to join this week!

Extra Information
- Adult Classes – Adult classes range from £4.50 to £6.00 per person.
- Junior Classes – Junior classes range from £4.00 to £5.00 per person.
There is no joining fee and fee’s are paid weekly. That is with the exception of Junior Performing Arts classes which are paid for by the term. After School Ballroom, Latin and Street Dance Classes have extra discounts when paid for by the month.

Personal Tuition
Personal tuition is available by appointment for Ballroom, Latin, Hip Hop, Ballet, Tap, Modern, Salsa, Jive, Disco, Street Dance and Wedding Day Dances. Lessons per 30 min session.
- Lesson fees £20.00 (The cost is the same for a solo or couple lesson)
- Please call to check for any monthly deals that might be available!
Consultations are also available prior to your first lesson, which is a fantastic way to find out more about the studios, which dance is suitable for you and how to get the most out of your dancing.
- Consultations are available by appointment at the price of £10.00.
- Please note this cost is redeemable against the price of your first lesson.
Note – Steel tipped heels are not permitted on the dance floor.
